Hey, future physicians! My name is Carly and I am currently a first year Pediatric resident at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). I wanted to start Doctors of Tomorrow so that I can share what I have learned on this path to becoming a doctor and hopefully help others who are venturing on the same path. This blog is for you! Feel free to comment and share your own experiences and advice, or ask any questions you might have. Using the experiences I have had so far, I will answer them to the best of my ability, and if I don’t know the answer, I will try and find out. With tips on preparing for the MCAT, the medical school admissions process, science classes in high school and college, and how to handle the hectic lifestyle that comes with preparing for a career in medicine, the Doctors of Tomorrow blog is here for those who, whether in high school or college, are setting out on the path of becoming a doctor. Now that I am further in this journey, I will also be sharing my experiences and give you an inside look as to what it is really like to be a medical student and resident.
